About RimWorld Saves

RimWorld stores saves as human-readable XML files (.rws) in the LocalLow folder. These files contain your entire colony state — colonist skills, health, resources, research progress, faction relations, and world map data. Since the format is XML, our editor provides complete tree navigation for precise editing.
